POLICE officers arrested a wanted man in Hoole this morning.
It came after reports were received of a man being verbally abusive to another man on Newton Lane at 8.40am.
A police spokesman said: “Officers located the suspect on Panton Place and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of assault. He is currently in custody.”
