An Anglesey woman who admitted making contact with a man when banned by a restraining order imposed just before Christmas was jailed for twelve weeks on Saturday
Magistrates at Llandudno said it was the third breach in a short period and Paula Clutton, aged 35, was under a suspended sentence. She must pay £200 costs.
Julia Galston, prosecuting at a weekend special court, said on Thursday night police received a 999 call from David Tainton because Clutton was at his home at Cemaes Bay. She was sitting on a settee and he was fed up of her turning up. The front door had been unlocked.
Mrs Galston said the other breaches were on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Glyn Roberts, defending, said the pair were close friends and drank together. Clutton was a homeless alcoholic and Mr Tainton acquiesced to the breach until he got fed up of her, the lawyer maintained.
