Fashion giant Primark has confirmed it will open in Llandudno next year.
Last week the company declined to say whether or not it is looking at a unit on Parc Llandudno, occupied until recently by British Home Stores which has gone into administration.
However on Sunday, August 7, a spokesperson for Primark confirmed the company expects to be opening a store in the town next year.
The spokesperson said: "Primark confirms that it will be opening in Llandudno. The store is expected to open in Autumn 2017."
In a further statement released this afternoon (Monday, August 8), a spokesperson also confirmed the store, located at Llandudno Retail Park, will cover 30,300sq ft of retail space and employ 110 people,
Speculation last week increased as Llandudno was added to the list of locations on the company's career search website.
