Police have issued a description of the man they are hunting 

POLICE have released a description of a man they are hunting after an armed robbery at a post office near Chester.

The balaclava-clad robber who burst in to the Guilden Sutton Post Office at 10am on Monday is of slim build, aged in his 40s, and about 6ft 1in tall. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a grey fleece and dark trousers.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the robbery or who saw anyone acting suspiciously prior to or after the raid to contact them on 101 or anonymously via the Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 230 of October1, 2012.

A female shop assistant at the Summerfield Road post office was left shaken by the ordeal after the robber burst in and demanded cash. He is believed to have fled on foot with the cash.
