Is this the face of Chester sex attacker?
CHESHIRE POLICE have issued an e-fit picture of a man who seriously sexually assaulted a young woman in Chester.
The image was released yesterday as police continue their hunt for the man, who attacked a 17-year-old girl as she walked home alone along Saughall Road, Blacon.
The girl was grabbed by the man and pulled onto wasteland on Blacon Meadows, opposite Dairy Crest at Blacon House Farm, Saughall Road.
The incident happened at 11.45pm on Tuesday, June 3.
In the weeks following the attack, Cheshire Constabulary issued an urgent witness appeal to find a man who was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with the trousers tucked into the socks.
He is described as white, in his 40s, 6ft tall and of slim build. He also had short dark hair and a dark moustache with grey in it.
No one has yet been arrested in relation to the crime and Cheshire Police say that their investigations into the assault are still ongoing.
Police have also warned young women to be alert when walking alone.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact the investigating officer, DS Nigel Parr, on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
