LUCKILY for the hard-working d’n’b heads at Hospital, summer has well and truly arrived, and this seasonal offering adds a little extra encouragement (not that you need it) to wind down the car windows and blast passing grandmas off their feet.

The summer 2012 compilation hinges around the fantastic Logistics album released in April, with upbeat treats from Camo & Krooked, Sigma, Fred V & Grafix and High Contrast thrown in.

As you’ll see this isn’t a Hospital-only affair and I love the inclusion of the likes of Technicolour and Komatic and Spectrasoul, as well as numerous previously unreleased tracks (the main boon for a compilation like this).

I struggled to get into the London Elektricity album mix I was sent for review as it featured a crazy robotic audio spoiler every 50 seconds (LondonElek is a champion of anti-piracy after all) but once I got past that there is plenty to get your teeth into, the latter half of the album especially.

Also if you haven’t already got the Logistics album I reckon this will convince you to part with your hard-earned cash.
