POLICE are appealing for help from the public to trace a missing man.
David Hannam, 81, was last seen by his family on Thursday, November 22 and was reported missing on Sunday, November 25.
Police have said the disappearance of Mr Hannam, who lives in Neston Road, Willaston, as out of character and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.
He is described as 5 ft 10 ins tall, with thin balding grey hair, bushy grey eyebrows and of a stocky build.
Mr Hannam spectacles and is possibly wearing a blue cardigan with leather buttons. It is believed he is on foot.
Inspector Alan Fairclough said: "Extensive enquiries are currently being carried out to trace David. This behaviour is out of character and we are concerned for his welfare.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen David or someone matching his description to come forward.
"We are also appealing for David himself to make contact with us and let us know he is ok."
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 414 of November 25.
