AN ASPIRING model is through to the next round of the Miss Teen Queen competition.
Melissa Suckley, 17, is hoping to make it into the final of the national teen modelling competition and is appealing for support.

Melissa, of Lundy Drive, Stanney Oaks, entered the competition at the Clothes Show Live in December and was one of 80 girls chosen for a photo shoot at Fairlight Studio's in London.

She has now been chosen as one of 50 girls to appear on the website for the competition and is hoping people from Ellesmere Port will vote for her to help her win the title of Miss Teen Queen UK in August.

Melissa said: "I was at the Clothes Show and there was a big stand. My friend and I thought we would enter the competition for a laugh and I got through.

"I'd like to win the competition and I'm hoping it will help me get an agent and get a foot in the door in to the business because I want to be a TV presenter in the future."

To vote text Melissa Suckey to 84205 or visit the website www.teenqueenuk.com.

The deadline for all votes is February 29.
