A NEW ticket office and new toilets have opened at Chester railway station as part of improvements to the concourse.
The new office will have much better access for passengers and new toilets are also available.

Arriva Trains Wales' Group Station Manager North Kim Hawkins said: "We would like to thank our customers for being very understanding about the works currently being undertaken at Chester Station.

"The new ticket office and toilets are a start but there are many more improvements to come."

Chester Station has been undergoing a major refurbishment, courtesy of the Chester Gateway Partnership, which embraces several bodies.

Arriva Trains Wales' element of the work costing £1.5 million, includes the new booking office and toilets.

Work is continuing on the development, which will also include a new travel information centre, shops and a café.
