KEVIN ELLISON today confirmed he was determined to make an impact in Chester's biggest game of the season tomorrow, writes DENNIS WALL.
The attacking midfielder, who has recovered from a thigh injury in time to be considered for the Blues' match at Shrewsbury Town, said: "I'm really pleased to be back in contention for a place after picking up a thigh injury in training last week.

"It's been disappointing to see the lads not getting rewarded for some good performances during the last few weeks.

"But whether you play well or play badly it's all about points at the end of the day, and at this stage of the season that's what we need and we'll be trying our best to get them.

"I'm not the best spectator when I'm out injured. I get frustrated. I always hope the boys play well when I'm sat in the stand – and they have – but they just haven't been getting the results.

"I know there's only two points separating us from the relegation places, but it's in our own hands and it's all about what we do.

"We know other teams are a couple of points behind us, but we're not bothered about them because we've got three games left and it's all about what we can do.

"It would be nice to get a couple of wins and finish the season on a high, but the main thing is to try and get some points at Shrewsbury."
