Chester City secure victory over Vauxhall Motors
Vauxhall Motors 1 Chester City 2
CHESTER City continued their build-up to the start of the new season with victory over neighbours Vauxhall Motors.
Simon Davies's side, which included trialist, the much travlled Trevor Benjamin, secured victory thanks to a Tony Dining penalty and a first ever goal from Stephen Vaughan.
Benjamin played the full 90 minutes as Blues boss Davies decides whether or not to offer the 29-year-old striker a deal.
