Chester’s home encounter with Bromley has been postponed due to snow and sub-zero temperatures.
Siberian weather and sub-zero temperatures have left the pitch at the Swansway Chester Stadium unplayable, covered in patchy snow and with temperatures barely getting above freezing between now and Saturday, it has left club officials with no option but to call the game off.
Conditions around the stadium have also been considered by club officials, with Thursday’s CFU meeting cancelled due to hazardous conditions outside the stadium and in the car park.
The match will be rescheduled in due course. Chester are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Dover Athletic.
