Launched in December 2012, this major appeal has a target of £3million to build a new Neonatal Unit more than double the size of the one we currently have. This will enable us to provide patients and their families with a more spacious environment and a greater degree of privacy.
Our charity exists to provide thing over and above core NHS provision and we therefore want to provide the very best facilities we can for families at what can often be a very distressing time for them. The new unit will have its own separate entrance and will include a counselling room and play room for siblings, along with larger nurseries and areas for families to have some quiet time.
Vision Support is a regional charity recognised as the leading provider of local support and services to people of all ages living with a vision impairment in Cheshire and North Wales. Established in 1876, our mission is to promote the continuing independence of individuals living with sight loss and to raise awareness of the needs of people with a visual impairment living within our local communities. We have more than 150 staff and volunteers working to achieve this aim, and deliver a range of services and opportunities.
